A Bit of Background

I have been working with Precious Metal Clay for over 10 years now, I have taken classes in PMC for certification, and have also taken several silver smithing courses.

Loving beads since my hippie days, I have a vast collection of Vintage, Lampwork and Gemstone Beads that I use in my jewelry.  Some of my beads go back to the early 1900's and even a few ancient beads that date back to 900 A.D.!  My personal collection started to build in 1985, and has not stopped.

I love working in silver, and Metal Clay Silver is my medium of choice because it is so unusual to work with, so challenging, and I think so more allowing of crazy creativity then working just in sheet and wire.

As I have said in earlier words, I love animals, and I have some very dear animal friends, from the past to the present.  I love sharing pictures of them and I hope you enjoy them too!  They will be popping up here and there also!

Abused as a Pup, she has some strange ways, but this is the way she looked at me from the Pound cage. She is the one in the family that is completely oblivious of what I am making in the jewerly studio

She indeed thinks she runs the whole show. She is very easily frustrated if I spend too much time on a pendant, in particular near suppertime!
